GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., June 25, 2008 – Zondervan, one of the world’s largest Christian communications companies, today announced a partnership with Paraclete Press, a leading publisher of books for liturgical Christians. The two companies have agreed to cross-sell a select number of each other’s titles into their respective markets.
“Our partnership is designed to be a mutually beneficial, reciprocal relationship that will expand the reach of both organizations and provide consumers with new opportunities to find their favorite authors,” said Moe Girkins, president and CEO of Zondervan.
Zondervan and Paraclete share a number of popular Christian authors, such as Scot McKnight, Walter Wangerin, Jr. The companies plan to test the partnership with books from these and several other authors before expanding the program over the next few years. Crossover titles will not appear in each other’s catalogs, but Zondervan and Paraclete will produce specific sell sheets for retailers.
