Zondervan launches eZondervan
Website offers customizable, downloadable digital content
Grand Rapids, Mich., July 8, 2007 – Zondervan, a global leader in Christian communications, today announced the launch of eZondervan (www.eZondervan.com), which for the first time ever combines Zondervan content with customizable, fast and convenient ways for consumers to find digital resources to help them in their daily lives or ministries.

eZondervan offers consumers greater flexibility, quality content and high value. It provides the same high-quality and depth of traditional Zondervan products in new digital formats. Consumers will enjoy the freedom to customize resources for individual needs on their own timetables for reasonable prices. They can pick between downloading the product(s) or burning them onto a CD, which will then be mailed to them.

“We are very excited about the launch of eZondervan as it demonstrates our ongoing commitment as a leader in Christian communications to meet people's needs with resources that glorify Jesus Christ and promote biblical principles, all the while recognizing that technology has always influenced that primary relationship between an author and 'reader.' In today's world, people access authors' content via a myriad of formats and channels,” said Scott Bolinder, executive vice president and publisher. “Zondervan seeks to deliver our valuable, life-transforming content the way our audiences want it, and eZondervan is the latest evidence of this commitment.”

Zondervan is launching the site in two phases: The first phase makes a select number of products available, including ministry resources, reference titles, Bible translations and inspirational titles. These titles are powered by Pradis®, the easy-to-use Bible study and reference software developed by Zondervan. A wide variety of other digital resources will be added on a monthly basis, including audio, video, eBooks and online Bible study subscriptions. Phase two includes a retailer program for eZondervan, which is currently in development.

“Our goal is to engage consumers by providing products that meet their needs in the places and formats they want, as well as to equip retailers to succeed in the digital world,” said Bolinder.
